A Fresh Coat of Pink!
Breast Cancer Awareness month kicked off last week. A local family took it upon themselves to show their support in a huge way. In West Seneca, a family decided they would go pink for October, literally. They decided that before they resided their house, they would paint it totally pink. This gesture of support has been in the works for the past year. The house is getting huge attention, as it should. This effort to raise awareness for breast cancer is surely doing its job. A special sign on the front lawn completes the efforts to pay homage to women affected. Every day the sign changes to honor a new woman that has experienced breast cancer. We really do live in the city of good neighbors.
